Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Data Scientist to join our Cape Town team. The ideal candidate will possess skills in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning, playing a key role in transforming data into actionable insights. You'll be working closely with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions that enhance our business strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead data-driven projects from conception through to implementation.
• Evaluate emerging data science methodologies and integrate them into current systems.
• Teach and mentor junior data analysts and interns in best practices.
• Collaborate in agile teams to foster innovation in our analytical capabilities.
• Document data processes and develop best practices for future projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in a data-focused role
