Job Description

As an Import Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of our operations, managing and overseeing the import of goods. Your role is crucial in ensuring timely and efficient processes, while maintaining compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track international shipments, managing customs clearance and documentation.
  • Communicate regularly with suppliers and customers for accurate and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Purchasing teams to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.
  • Ensure compliance with all import regulations and company policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of import regulations and best practices.
  • Assist in the development of import policies.
  • Compile and report data on import efficiency for management review.
  • Conduct risk assessments regarding import processes.
  • Participate in training sessions for staff on import management.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain management or a related field
Experience
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in import coordination preferred
