Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Telephone Quotation Clerk to join our dynamic team. Your primary role will involve providing accurate and timely quotations to customers over the phone, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. A successful candidate must exhibit exceptional communication skills alongside a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Manage phone interactions efficiently and respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, and availability.
  • Deliver accurate and competitive quotations promptly based on customers' specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely processing of customer requests.
  • Keep detailed records of customer interactions and ensure all details are captured in the database.
  • Proactively follow up to address additional customer questions and provide further assistance.
  • Resolve customer complaints or concerns, escalating issues as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of current products, services, and promotions.
  • Adhere to company policies ensuring excellence in customer service.
  • Participate in training to improve product knowledge and enhance performance.
  • Achieve individual and team KPIs related to quotation accuracy.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in customer service or sales advantageous
Experience
  • Previous experience in quotation management is advantageous.
Technical Skills
  • MS Office Suite proficiency
  • Experience with CRM software

  • Time management skills
Languages
  • English: Fluent
  • Afrikaans: Basic
