Job Description

As a Blaster, you will play a critical role in our mining operations. You will be responsible for preparing and executing controlled blasts to facilitate mining activities, while ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations. Ideal candidates should have a solid understanding of explosive materials and possess a valid blasting certificate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the storage and handling of explosives to mitigate risks.
• Schedule and coordinate blasting operations with project teams.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure clarity on blasting plans.
• Review and adjust blasting plans based on site conditions.
• Participate in safety audits and training programs.
• Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively.
• Prepare detailed reports on blasting operations and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation in all tasks.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant qualifications in mining or construction

Experience

• Experience in mining or construction industry preferred

Languages
