Job Description

As a Public Health Officer, your role will involve analyzing health data, designing community health initiatives, and advocating for public health policies to improve health outcomes in Port Elizabeth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead outreach programs targeting at-risk populations to promote health awareness.
  • Analyze community health statistics to identify areas for intervention.
  • Hold community forums to discuss health concerns and gather feedback.
  • Develop partnerships with local businesses and NGOs to enhance health initiatives.
  • Assist in grant writing and fundraising for health programs.
  • Provide consultation and training to community health workers.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health preferred
