The Cutting and Slicing Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender plays a vital role in the production line by ensuring the precise cutting and slicing of materials to ensure high-quality garment production. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality are essential in this position.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and calibrate cutting machines for various garment materials.
• Collaborate with production managers to optimize production processes.
• Inspect cut pieces for accuracy and quality before they proceed to the next stage.
• Troubleshoot any technical issues with cutting equipment.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards during operations.
• Document production batches and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss scheduling and workflow improvements.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical qualification in garment construction or related field preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
