Job Description

We are on the lookout for a meticulous Internal Auditor to join our Cape Town office. The successful candidate will be instrumental in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. You will assess compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, providing valuable insights to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the effectiveness of risk management processes.
• Conduct forensic audits when necessary.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations.
• Assist in developing policies for internal controls.
• Offer strategic insights based on audit findings.
• Facilitate workshops on risk management best practices.
• Engage with stakeholders to address audit-related queries.
• Support the finance team during budget preparation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
• Master's degree or additional certifications preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in internal auditing or financial analysis
