Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Port Elizabeth team. This role involves designing, developing, and overseeing electrical systems and projects to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed plans and specifications for electrical systems.
• Lead projects from concept through to execution and completion.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction.
• Utilize CAD software to create electrical designs.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Perform system audits and evaluate efficiency metrics.
• Prepare reports on project progress and outcomes.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in the electrical engineering field
