Responsibilities

• Generate creative and functional designs for residential and commercial projects.
• Liaise with clients to capture their vision and ideals.
• Prepare and submit all necessary documents for permits and approvals.
• Supervise construction sites to ensure design integrity.
• Mentor junior architects and interns within the team.
• Develop accurate cost estimates for project budgets.
• Research materials and technologies that enhance design quality.
• Participate in community engagement initiatives related to project developments.
• Incorporate feedback from clients and stakeholders into design revisions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a closely related field
• Master's degree in Architecture is an asset

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in architectural practice

Technical Skills

• Revit
• Project Management Software

• Problem-Solving
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Architectural Certification Board (ACB)
• Certified Project Manager (CPM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
