Job Description

We are seeking a Cyber Forensics Analyst to join our dynamic cybersecurity team in Sandton. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and have experience in investigating cyber incidents, data breaches, and related criminal activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents.
• Analyze malware and other indicators of compromise.
• Draft comprehensive reports and case studies for breaches.
• Work closely with IT teams to enhance overall security protocols.
• Collaborate with other analysts to create response strategies.
• Build and maintain digital evidence databases.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.
• Support audits and compliance assessments.
• Monitor network activities for signs of illicit behavior.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications in Cybersecurity are advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years in cybersecurity roles, with at least 2 years focusing on forensics
