Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Helpers--Extraction Workers to join our team in Cape Town. You will play a vital role in operating sandfill equipment and ensuring safe waste management practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of health and safety regulations and the ability to work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily safety briefings and operational planning.
• Assist with the segregation and recycling of waste materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Educate peers on safety practices and environmental standards.
• Support waste management initiatives across the operations team.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in waste management or construction desirable

Technical Skills

• Equipment Maintenance
• Environmental Awareness

• Physical Stamina

Certifications

• First Aid Certification (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Waste Management Software: Familiarity with software used for tracking waste disposal processes.
