Job Description

As a Chemical Engineer at Local Chemical Solutions Ltd., you'll play a key role in the research and development of new chemical products and processes. You will work closely with manufacturing to implement efficient and sustainable production methods, ensuring an adherence to industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects focusing on the development of new chemical products.
• Ensure processes are efficient, safe, and eco-friendly.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement necessary safety measures.
• Work directly with clients to understand their technical needs.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Provide technical support during production scale-ups.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant industry experience

• Chemical Process Simulation Software

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in HAZOP Studies: Experience conducting Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) studies.
• Familiarity with Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of regulations such as REACH and GHS.
