UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to join our team in Johannesburg. You will be tasked with creating innovative designs that simplify complex processes. Your work will directly influence our user engagement and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive interfaces that enhance user experience.
• Work closely with product managers to understand user needs.
• Develop style guides and design systems for consistent design.
• Participate in sprint planning and design reviews.
• Present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
• Document design processes to improve team efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field
• Master's degree is an added advantage

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in UX/UI design

Technical Skills

• Adobe Creative Suite
• Sketch/Figma
• HTML/CSS

Soft Skills

• Creative Thinking
• Team Collaboration

Certifications

• Certified Usability Analyst (CUA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with user research methodologies: Familiarity with conducting various user research methods, such as interviews and surveys.
• Experience in mobile app design: Knowledge in designing user interfaces for mobile applications.
