Dovetail Machine Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a Dovetail Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with dovetail machines and a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of dovetail machinery while ensuring accuracy in joint cuts.
• Prepare and calibrate machines for optimal performance based on production requirements.
• Conduct inspections to detect defects or issues in production output.
• Communicate effectively with fellow team members to achieve production targets.
• Document production metrics and report any variances to management.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in training new operators in machine operation and safety procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing floor.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational training in woodworking or machinery

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or woodworking environment.

Certifications

• Advanced Woodworking Techniques Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
