We are on the lookout for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and a passion for ensuring the quality of innovative software products.

Responsibilities

• Manage testing schedules and resources effectively.
• Ensure compliance with QA standards and procedures.
• Coordinate and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Mentor junior QA engineers and provide training on testing methodologies.
• Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback to the development team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree in Software Engineering is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance

Technical Skills

• Agile Methodologies
• Database Testing

Certifications

• Certified Agile Tester (CAT)
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with performance testing tools: Hands-on experience with tools like LoadRunner or JMeter.
• Knowledge of cloud services: Understanding of cloud platforms and their testing requirements.
