We are seeking a dynamic Chemical Engineer to join our Port Elizabeth team. The ideal candidate will have experience in process design, optimization, and safety protocols. You will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative chemical processes to enhance production efficiency while adhering to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects focusing on process optimization and cost reduction.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to maintain product integrity.
• Develop and maintain safety protocols and standards.
• Assist in the development of new chemical products.
• Monitor and adjust process parameters to improve yields.
• Document procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate new equipment and technology for process enhancement.
• Prepare and present reports to management on project status and outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or closely related field
• Professional registration is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the chemical industry
