Aerospace Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an innovative Aerospace Engineer to help drive our projects in Cape Town. You will work on developing cutting-edge aerospace products and ensuring they meet required performance and safety standards. The right candidate should have experience with aerospace design processes and tools, as well as a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and analysis of aerospace components using advanced software tools.
• Conduct field tests and simulations to assess performance under various conditions.
• Create and maintain project schedules to meet critical deadlines.
• Identify opportunities for innovation within existing projects.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary collaboration for complex projects.
• Prepare presentations and deliver findings to senior management.
• Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies.
• Champion sustainable design practices within the engineering team.
• Support the continuous improvement process by gathering stakeholder feedback.
• Perform risk assessments related to engineering processes and product outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in relevant engineering field is beneficial

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace design and development

• Professional Engineer (PE)

Languages
