Responsibilities

• Conduct emergency dental procedures in urgent situations.
• Evaluate and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
• Foster a positive environment through patient relationships.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to practice improvements.
• Assist with inventory management of dental supplies.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities.

Requirements

Education

• BDS from a recognized institution
• Additional certification in orthodontics or cosmetic dentistry is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of dental practice experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Oral Surgery
• Dentistry Software Proficiency

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Conflict Resolution

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• HPCSA Dental Registration

Languages

• Afrikaans: Intermediate

Advantageous

• Fluency in Afrikaans and English: Bilingual communication skills to better serve a diverse patient base.
• Experience in community outreach programs: Participation in dental health initiatives within the community.
