Job Description

Join us as a Registered Nurse in Cape Town, where you will play a critical role in patient care by performing assessments, coordinating treatment protocols, and educating patients on health management.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and health status.
• Assist in diagnostic procedures and interpret results.
• Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Handle medical equipment and technology effectively.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)

Experience

• 2+ years of nursing experience preferred

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Languages

• Knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHR): Familiarity with EHR systems for patient documentation.
