Job Description

As an Architectural Designer at Your Design Company, you will play a key role in shaping the built environment of Johannesburg. Your responsibilities will include collaborating on project designs, creating detailed architectural plans, and liaising with clients to ensure their requirements are met effectively and creatively.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for a variety of projects including residential and commercial.
• Utilize architectural software to draft, edit, and finalize drawings.
• Ensure compliance with local zoning laws and regulations.
• Contribute new ideas and innovative solutions in team brainstorming sessions.
• Assist in project bidding by preparing presentations and client proposals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Design or related field
• Master's degree in Urban Design is a plus

Experience

• 5 years of diverse architectural experience

Technical Skills

• 3D Modeling
• Building Code Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Project Management
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus
• National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) certification is desirable

Languages

• English: Fluent
