Job Description

A Ladle Repairman is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing ladles used in industrial processes. This role is essential in ensuring that ladles are ready to handle and transport molten materials safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of ladles prior to use.
• Diagnose issues impacting ladle performance and implement corrective actions.
• Utilize welding techniques to repair and maintain ladles.
• Document all maintenance and repair activities for compliance and reference.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions regularly.
• Monitor ladle usage and recommend repairs or replacements as necessary.
• Assist in developing maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Utilize ladle inspection software to track performance metrics.
• Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance team.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Trade certification in Welding or a related field

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in metal repair
