Job Description

As a Woodworking Machine Setter, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used to shape wood products. The ideal candidate will have experience in the woodworking industry and be able to follow precise technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate woodworking machinery and stacker machines to meet production standards.
• Verify the quality of wood products and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and collaborate with maintenance teams.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with safety standards.
• Effectively document machine usage and maintenance activities.
• Assist in training sessions for new employees regarding machine operations.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certificate in Woodworking or Manufacturing preferred

Experience

• Previous experience as a Stacker Tender or similar role is preferred

Technical Skills

• Forklift operation
• Quality control

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Communication

Certifications

• Forklift Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in quality assurance: Background in quality assurance processes in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of CAD software: Familiarity with computer-aided design software for woodworking.
