Radial Drill Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radial Drill Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining radial drilling machines to drill, bore, ream, mill, or countersink various metal components. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for metalworking.

Responsibilities

• Operate radial drilling machines and control operations to achieve production goals.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure quality output.
• Set drill speed, feed rate, and depth according to job requirements.
• Conduct quality checks using precise measuring instruments.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of drill operations.
• Assist in training new operators on machine setup and operation.
• Document operational data and report production results.
• Proactively identify potential problems and suggest solutions.
• Assist with inventory management of tools and supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role preferred

Languages
