Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with various physical conditions. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to design and implement personalized rehabilitation programs, enhancing patients' mobility and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patients presenting with musculoskeletal issues.
• Design and execute comprehensive treatment programs.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment progression.
• Document all patient interactions and therapy sessions accurately.
• Work with occupational therapists and speech therapists on multi-faceted treatment plans.
• Adapt therapeutic exercises to suit varying patient abilities.
• Engage in community outreach programs to promote health and wellness.
• Contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives within the clinic.

Advantageous

• Experience with hydrotherapy: Understanding of water therapy methods and applications.
• Knowledge of ergonomic assessments: Skills in assessing workplace ergonomics and recommending modifications.
