We are seeking a skilled Cyber Defense Analyst to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring security systems, analyzing threats, and implementing proactive security measures to protect our digital assets.

Responsibilities

• Conduct threat assessments and risk analysis.
• Implement security solutions to address vulnerabilities.
• Respond promptly to security breaches and incidents.
• Provide technical support for security tools and technologies.
• Develop and maintain security documentation.
• Foster relationships with external security partners.
• Evaluate security technologies for effectiveness and compliance.
• Assist in the development of training materials for employees.
• Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity.
• Participate in incident response drills.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role
