Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Legal Counsel to join our Johannesburg office. The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate law and a strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements. You will play a crucial role in providing legal advice and support to various departments within the company.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret legal documents and statutes.
• Support the legal team in litigation and dispute resolution.
• Conduct legal trainings for employees.
• Advise on intellectual property matters.
• Assist in drafting corporate policies and procedures.
• Engage with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
• Research legal precedents and case law as needed.
• Develop relationships with external legal advisors.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognized university
• Additional qualifications in corporate law would be an advantage

Experience

• 5-7 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
