Accountant

Job Description

We are searching for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing financial analysis and support. You will work on varied projects, refine your skills, and contribute to our clients' success.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial transactions and ensure they are recorded accurately.
• Generate detailed financial reports for management review.
• Support the Finance Manager in optimizing financial processes.
• Communicate with clients regarding their accounting inquiries.
• Identify areas for accounting process improvement and implement changes as needed.
• Facilitate training sessions on accounting software for clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
• Additional qualifications such as CIMA or ACCA are preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant accounting or financial analysis experience
