Responsibilities

• Assist in the processing of salmon, maintaining high standards of quality.
• Engage in proactive maintenance of fishing equipment and vessels.
• Maintain logs of catches, routes taken, and conditions during fishing trips.
• Communicate with local fishery authorities to ensure compliance.
• Participate in community outreach for sustainable fishing practices.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while on board.
• Facilitate onboarding and mentorship for new crew members.
• Assist in developing new fishing techniques and approaches.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in commercial fishing or related industry
