Loom Blower

Job Description

The Loom Blower will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our looms in a dynamic production environment. You will be responsible for maintaining the machinery and ensuring quality standards are consistently met.

Responsibilities

• Monitor loom operations to ensure efficient production.
• Conduct regular checks for loom calibration and adjustments.
• Resolve mechanical issues swiftly to minimize downtime.
• Maintain proper inventory of loom supplies and tools.
• Assist in the training of new staff on loom operations.
• Participate in safety meetings and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Technical qualification in a related field
• Additional certifications in machinery operation is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in textile machinery operation

Technical Skills

• Pneumatic Systems

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with various loom types: Familiarity with a range of loom machinery including Jacquard and Shuttle looms.
• Trade qualification in textiles: A formal trade qualification related to textile production is advantageous.
