Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Pet Groomer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate should have a love for animals and experience in handling various breeds. You will be responsible for bathing, clipping, and grooming pets to ensure their comfort and aesthetics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-grooming assessments to determine specific needs.
• Utilize various grooming tools and techniques effectively.
• Build rapport with pets to ensure a stress-free grooming experience.
• Advise clients on the best grooming products for their pets.
• Manage inventory of grooming supplies and report needs to management.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Relevant diploma/certification in Animal Care is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in grooming or related fields

Technical Skills

• Grooming Equipment Proficiency
• Animal Behavior Understanding

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Detail-oriented

Certifications

• Pet First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Familiarity with grooming software: Experience using scheduling and customer management software for grooming services.
