Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacologist in Pretoria to enhance our pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and patient care protocols. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal medication management and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Assess medication management in patients with chronic conditions.
• Design and implement patient education programs on safe medication use.
• Work with pharmacy staff to ensure effective inventory management.
• Support regulatory compliance related to pharmacy operations.
• Conduct medication reconciliation for new admissions.
• Support the integration of technology in medication management.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of medication therapy management services.

Requirements

Education

• PharmD with a focus on Clinical Pharmacy
• Postgraduate diploma in Pharmacotherapy is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in clinical or hospital pharmacy environments
