Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to join our team in Pietermaritzburg. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and overseeing construction projects, ensuring that all work complies with local regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and improve existing infrastructure systems.
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and deliver optimal solutions.
  • Participate in project planning and scheduling.
  • Review and approve project design changes and modifications.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor construction activities and ensure adherence to design.
  • Prepare project documentation and reports for stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in the engineering workflow.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on infrastructure projects
