Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pet Groomer to join our Pasadena team. The ideal candidate should have experience in grooming different breeds and understanding their specific grooming needs. You will be responsible for ensuring each pet receives personalized care and a grooming experience that leaves them looking and feeling great.

Responsibilities

• Engage with pets in a gentle and caring manner.
• Ensure all grooming tools are properly cleaned and sanitized.
• Provide additional services like nail trimming and ear cleaning.
• Monitor pets for signs of stress and intervene when necessary.
• Promote additional services and retail products to pet owners.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma
• Pet Care or Animal Science degree preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in professional grooming

Technical Skills

• Grooming Equipment Management

Soft Skills

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Pet CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to perform minor grooming-related medical procedures: Experience with basic first aid or grooming-related medical assistance.
• Knowledge of dog show grooming standards: Familiarity with grooming standards for competition preparation.
