Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate Social Worker to provide support and assistance to individuals and families in need within the Pretoria community. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social justice principles and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to deliver impactful community programs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the effectiveness of intervention strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic care.
• Empower clients through education and resources.
• Develop community awareness initiatives.
• Participate in policy discussions surrounding social welfare.
• Conduct home visits to assess family dynamics and needs.
• Engage in regular supervision and case management meetings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work
• Master's degree in Social Work preferred

Experience

• Experience in community outreach is an advantage
