Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Environmental Engineer to join our Pretoria team. The successful candidate will focus on assessing environmental impact, conducting site assessments, and developing sustainable solutions tailored to client needs.

Responsibilities

• Assess and mitigate environmental risks associated with projects.
• Conduct research on environmental issues and solutions.
• Develop pollution control technologies and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers, planners, and scientists on environmental initiatives.
• Prepare grant proposals for funding environmental projects.
• Review project plans for environmental impact considerations.
• Provide training on environmental compliance and sustainability practices.
• Evaluate technological advancements in environmental science.
• Facilitate community engagement in environmental awareness activities.
• Support the development of environmental education programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Engineering
• Master's degree in Environmental Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting or project management

Certifications

• Certified Environmental Professional (CEP)
