Responsibilities

• Help perform routine health checks and wellness exams.
• Assist in surgical procedures and emergency care.
• Collect and process laboratory samples for tests.
• Guide pet owners through treatment plans and health procedures.
• Maintain facility compliance with health regulations and standards.
• Actively participate in team meetings and strategy discussions.
• Foster a supportive and safe environment for both patients and clients.
• Stay current on veterinary trends and advancements in care.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Veterinary Nursing
• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science is a plus

Experience

• 1-3 years of practical experience in veterinary clinics

• Diagnostic Imaging
• Anesthesia Monitoring

Certifications

• Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE)
• CPR and First Aid Certification for Pets

Languages

• Afrikaans: Conversational
