Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for providing technical support to our internal teams, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring seamless operation of our IT systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and a passion for solving technical problems.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct troubleshooting of hardware issues including PCs, printers, and network devices.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions in accordance with company policies.
  • Assist in the implementation of IT security measures.
  • Ensure data backups are performed regularly and restore data as required.
  • Maintain communication with users regarding ongoing issues and resolution timelines.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent
Experience
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in IT support

Languages
  • English: Fluent
