Responsibilities

• Evaluate applications for insurance coverage and assess risk factors.
• Determine the appropriate coverage and premiums based on risk assessment.
• Work closely with agents and clients to clarify policy terms and conditions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance legislation and industry standards.
• Review and analyze reports to identify trends and improve underwriting practices.
• Collaborate with the claims department to ensure accurate underwriting and risk assessment.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in underwriting or related field.
