Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Throwster to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality yarns from natural fibers such as silk, wool, and cotton. The Throwster will have experience in the textile industry and be able to demonstrate an understanding of the entire yarn manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure efficient operation of throwster machinery to maximize production output.
  • Implement best practices in yarn production processes to improve quality and reduce waste.
  • Assist in the design of new yarn specifications according to customer requirements.
  • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in production efficiency.
  • Facilitate communication between production teams to address challenges in real-time.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
  • Regularly perform maintenance checks on machinery to prevent downtime.
  • Document and report production metrics to management consistently.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a throwster machine.

Languages

Advantageous
