DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are in search of a talented DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. This role involves working on automation, optimization, and enhancement of deployment processes, while collaborating closely with development teams to ensure seamless application delivery.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment.
• Coordinate with IT and development teams for seamless operations.
• Engage in capacity planning and system performance tuning.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery plans are in place.
• Assist in the migration of applications to cloud environments.
• Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies for development and operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Relevant certifications such as AWS or Azure

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or related field
