As a Security Architect based in Durban, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our technological environment. Your responsibilities will include developing security architectures and policies and providing guidance to teams on best practices to defend against cyber threats.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security architectures that align with business objectives.
• Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
• Develop and update security policies, systems, and procedures.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.
• Collaborate with IT teams to enhance existing security practices.
• Provide expert guidance on security technologies and tools.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Monitor security incidents and provide an immediate response to breaches.
• Deliver training to staff on security awareness and best practices.
• Create comprehensive incident response strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or network security roles
