Job Description

We are in search of a meticulous Senior Auditor to join our finance team in Johannesburg. The candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough audits to ensure compliance with regulations and internal standards, along with presenting findings and recommendations to management. This role requires a blend of analytical skills and financial knowledge, ensuring the company's financial integrity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial audits to verify accuracy and compliance.
• Analyze data to identify discrepancies and report findings.
• Assist management in developing systems of internal controls.
• Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate their work.
• Document audit findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Enhance the efficiency of audit operations through best practices.
• Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to laws.
• Participate in the development of audit policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accountancy
• Master’s degree or relevant certification is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of auditing experience with a focus on compliance

• CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants)
