Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Telecommunications Technician who is passionate about the field of telecommunications and eager to work with cutting-edge technologies. This role involves installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecommunications systems, ensuring reliable service delivery to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Support troubleshooting efforts for complex telecommunications issues.
• Assist in the configuration of routers, switches, and wireless access points.
• Provide feedback to the Technical Manager on system improvements.
• Participate in team meetings to design effective solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest telecommunications technologies.
• Engage with customers to ensure satisfaction with services provided.
• Create reports on system performance and project progress.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Telecommunications or similar
• B-Tech or higher qualification in a related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in telecommunications roles with a focus on installations and maintenance

Certifications

• Certified Telecommunications Network Specialist (CTNS)
