Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to provide high-quality healthcare services in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of health conditions, providing preventative care, and promoting overall wellness in our patient community.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive primary care to patients.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and provide appropriate treatment.
• Counsel patients regarding their health conditions and medication use.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the healthcare setting.
• Attend team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities.
• Engage in research activities as required.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent
• Diploma in Family Medicine is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role

• Diagnostic Skills
• Emergency Care

• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Registered with the South African Medical Association (SAMA)

• English: Fluent
