Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network security, risk assessment, and incident response. You will be responsible for implementing security measures to protect our infrastructure and data.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain documentation of security processes.
• Review system logs and alerts for suspicious activities.
• Assist in compliance audits and regulatory requirements.
• Develop incident response plans and procedures.
• Advise on security risks related to new technologies.
• Collaborate with law enforcement on cybersecurity incidents.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity or IT Security is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of comprehensive experience in cybersecurity

Technical Skills

• Firewall Configuration
• Threat Hunting

Certifications

• CISM

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Cybersecurity frameworks: Experience with NIST, ISO 27001, or similar frameworks.
