Policy Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Policy Analyst to join our team in Pretoria. In this role, you will conduct in-depth research and provide valuable insights to aid policy formulation and evaluation. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure effective public administration and contribute to evidence-based decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Identify emerging trends and issues in public administration.
• Gather and interpret qualitative and quantitative data.
• Provide strategic recommendations based on policy analysis.
• Support advocacy efforts for policy change and development.
• Engage in networking to build collaborative relationships.
• Participate in public forums to represent the agency's interests.
• Support training and capacity-building initiatives for staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or Political Science
• Master's degree in Public Policy is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in public policy analysis or related field

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Tswana: Conversational
