As a Fashion Line Developer, you will play a vital role in creating and overseeing our latest fashion collections. Your expertise will guide every stage of product development, from conceptualization to production, ensuring that each piece embodies our brand’s aesthetic.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and develop innovative fashion lines through sketching and technical drawings.
• Supervise the product lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of fashion items.
• Engage in sustainable sourcing and development practices.
• Collaborate with marketing to strategize promotional efforts for collections.
• Ensure designs are cost-effective and aligned with budget requirements.
• Conduct trend analysis to keep the brand relevant and competitive.
• Coordinate with production teams to address challenges during manufacturing.
• Utilize CAD software to enhance the design process.
• Foster a creative and inclusive working environment.
• Evaluate competitor collections and analyze differentiating factors.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising or related field
• Master's degree preferred in relevant area

Experience

• 5+ years in fashion product development or management

Certifications

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Intermediate
