We are seeking a Concrete Handler to join our skilled construction team. This role involves moving and placing concrete to meet specific project requirements, requiring familiarity with concrete properties, tools, and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain concrete mixing equipment.
• Prepare and pour concrete to specified measurements and textures.
• Assist in the installation of rebar and concrete forms.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and tools.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.
• Utilise best practices for concrete curing and finishing.
• Provide assistance in training junior staff on equipment use.
• Conduct quality checks on concrete formulations.
• Keep work area organised and free from hazards.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in concrete work

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of concrete properties and characteristics
• Equipment operation

Certifications

• Construction Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
