We are looking for an experienced Pet Groomer to join our dedicated team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a flair for animal care and the skills to provide comprehensive grooming services including bathing, clipping, and styling for pets of all sizes. Responsibilities

• Deliver top-notch grooming services tailored to each pet's needs.
• Assess pets for any skin conditions, parasites, or abnormalities.
• Coordinate with vets for any specific care instructions or treatments.
• Help train junior groomers and new staff members.
• Promote salon services and up-sell grooming packages.
• Engage in community events to promote pet grooming and care.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients and their pets.
• Adapt grooming techniques based on pet behavior and temperament.

Requirements

Education

• Any relevant grooming courses or certifications

Experience

• 3+ years of grooming experience preferred

• Scissoring and Clipping Techniques

Certifications

• Pet Grooming Professional Certification
• Animal Behavior Certification

Languages

• Afrikaans: Conversational
• English: Fluent
