Join our passionate team as a Pet Groomer in Cape Town. We are looking for someone with a love for animals and a knack for grooming. You’ll provide excellent grooming services and ensure our clients' pets leave looking and feeling their best.

Responsibilities

• Groom pets to meet client specifications and breed standards.
• Keep detailed records of grooming services provided and client preferences.
• Manage inventory of grooming supplies and request orders when necessary.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team for any health-related concerns noticed during grooming.
• Participate in training and development workshops to enhance grooming skills.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Advanced Grooming Certification is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a grooming environment

Technical Skills

• Clipping and Trimming
• First Aid for Pets

Soft Skills

• Customer Service
• Patience

Certifications

• Pet First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to handle special needs pets: Experience with grooming pets that have medical conditions or behavioral issues.
• Knowledge of basic pet nutrition: Understanding of the nutritional needs for different breeds.
